Blue hour

Blue hour is the period just before golden hour in the morning, and right after golden hour in the evening. During this time, the sky takes on deep shades of blue. Sunsethue defines blue hour when the sun is between 7.4° and 5.1° below the horizon. Blue hour is shorter than golden hour, and since the sun is quite a bit below the horizon, the best metric to use to determine if blue hour will be worth it, is to check cloud cover. Sunsethue provides an inverse cloud cover metric to score blue hour.
