Over the past year I focused my limited time towards improving the forecasts. Now that the V3 model of Sunsethue is almost finished, it is finally time for the long awaited Sunsethue mobile app.

FAQ

Why did it take so long to create a mobile app?

The main focus over the past years has been to improve the forecasts as much as possible in terms of accuracy and new innovative features. Creating a mobile app is a lot of work, but now Sunsethue’s V3 model is almost ready to launch, the time has finally come.

Why will the app only launch in July?

Currently only the basic functionality of the app has been developed, over the coming months I will need to polish everything up and do extensive testing before the launch. The exact date is yet to be decided, but will probably be in the first half of July.

Will the web-app stay available?

Yes, the mobile app will not have all the functionalities of the web-app at the beginning, because it takes time to port all features over. For experimental features and maps, the web-app will still be the place-to-be.

Will there be a free trial?

There likely will be a free trial for the paid part of the app (Alerts). The duration of this trial is yet to be decided. More details regarding this will be available at launch.
