Over the past week I've been busy implementing two much requested features: notification alerts for sunrises and visualisation of the forecast on maps.
There is now also an option in Sunsethue Alerts to receive notifications for good sunrises! The option is available for all users, but due to capacity constraints the option to receive alerts for both sunrises and sunsets is available only to premium users.
SIGN UPYou can change your preferences for Sunsethue Alerts in your account (if you signed up after November 2024) or by clicking “manage preferences” in one of the alert emails you received. If you’re already a premium user, you can switch to both sunrise and sunset alerts for no additional cost.
An experimental version of map visualisations has been released and can be accessed by clicking the “maps” button in the web-app. Currently, the map forecasts are available for up to two days in advance for the United States, Europe and Australia. The maps are still in the testing phase, let me know if you experience any issues or have feedback.
